Ellton Longwall was founded by Mark Newton in 2000 and remains family owned and operated. For nearly three decades, the company has specialised in one field: longwall chain systems.

That specialisation covers chain selection, sprockets, flight bars and connectors each supplied, matched and built as part of a complete system. Our purpose-built workshop at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast is the only facility of its kind in Australia, designed specifically for this work.

Ellton flight bars are designed in Australia, drawing on decades of experience on working longwalls, and manufactured by trusted partners around the world. Ellton also undertakes project based work for our trusted clients, utalising our deep connections with manufacturing partners around the world to source longwall equipment and wear parts.
